As a Pharmacy Technician at Ivel Medical Centre in Biggleswade (SG18 0RA) you will take a central role in medicines management and optimisation for a 13,000‑patient practice rated Good by the CQC. Working alongside GPs, the Clinical Pharmacist, practice nurses and administrative staff, your day-to-day will include managing repeat prescriptions, undertaking medicines reconciliation for new patients and after hospital discharge, supporting medication reviews, implementing safety alerts, running audits and advising patients on safe use and disposal of medicines.
This part‑time role is 25 hours per week and sits at AfC band 5 pro rata (full‑time equivalent £31,049–£37,796), ideal for a GPhC‑registered Pharmacy Technician with strong IT skills (EMIS or SystmOne), a good understanding of medicines optimisation and a patient‑centred approach.
