Work as a Practice Nurse at Pendleside Medical Practice in Clitheroe, delivering hands‑on, evidence‑based primary care across treatment room duties and chronic disease clinics. You’ll provide wound and ulcer care (including Doppler), cytology, immunisations (adult and childhood), travel health, venepuncture, ECGs and ear care, run long‑term condition clinics (asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, CHD), assist with minor surgery and women’s health procedures and support new patient checks, screening and pathology management. The role combines independent clinical decision‑making with close teamwork across the practice and Ribblesdale PCN, contributing to QOF, IIF and enhanced services while taking part in audit, infection control and service development.
This permanent Band 6 post suits experienced practice nurses and those new to general practice who will be supported with a structured induction, mentorship and a tailored development plan.
