Practice Nurse role at Fenny Compton Surgery, working across two sites (Fenny Compton, Southam CV47 2YG and Shenington, Banbury OX15 6NF). This part‑time, permanent post suits a registered practice nurse with core skills in baby and travel immunisations, cervical cytology, chronic disease management (especially diabetes and coronary heart disease), venepuncture, ECGs and wound/Doppler care. You will be part of a supportive multi‑disciplinary team in a rural practice caring for around 5,400 patients and using EMIS Web. Applicants must hold current UK professional registration and the post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
On a typical day you will run routine clinics and carry out directed clinical tasks from GPs — immunisation clinics (including childhood and travel), asthma and hypertension reviews, suture removal, family planning, requesting pathology, and chronic disease reviews.
