As a Band 6 Specialist Children's & Young Person's Occupational Therapist with Wye Valley NHS Trust you'll deliver specialist, family-centred OT for children aged 0–18 who are registered with Herefordshire GPs. Based at the Benet Building, Belmont (Hereford HR2 9RP), this permanent, part‑time role (pro rata salary £38,682–£46,580) asks you to plan and manage your own caseload across community settings — homes, schools and therapy suites — using standardised and non‑standardised assessments to set child‑focused goals, design individual treatment plans and, where appropriate, delegate to OT support workers, families or school staff. You must hold an OT degree, HCPC registration and relevant post‑graduate experience/CPD in children’s occupational therapy; the post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
This vacancy suits an experienced, caring practitioner who values autonomy, practical hands‑on work and a genuine work–life balance.
