As a Staff Nurse in the Medical Day Case Unit at Wye Valley NHS Trust (Hereford County Hospital, HR1 1ER) you will provide patient-centred care as a named nurse and team leader. The role involves administering and supporting medical interventions (with training and competencies), assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for both planned and unplanned cases, and taking charge of the department when the senior nurse is absent. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, manage complaints appropriately, and take part in supervising and teaching staff and students to maintain high standards of governance and safety.
