Davan Ward is a busy 22 bedded mixed sex, acute admission ward for patients with functional/organic illnesses. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the ever changing needs of the Older Adult Psychiatry service. This is a rotational post. RMN is desired. The successful candidate should be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards participation in the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. The ability to lead by example and to support the ongoing development of others is desirable. This position offers broad experience across many domains in a challenging but rewarding healthcare environment. This position would suit those that wish to be part of an evolving service that recognizes the diverse and complex needs of the elderly and their carers. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver care in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and in line with local and national policy including health and safety legislation. You will be fully supported and you will be given plenty of opportunities for professional and personal development.
