As a Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Home Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care and support of our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities: Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and grooming Support residents with mobility and physical activities Plan in activities with management and support residents attending Administer medication as required and directed by health care professionals Provide emotional support and companionship Assist with meal preparation Monitor and report changes in resident's health and well-being Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided Implementing behaviour management techniques when required This position is offered as 25 hours per week with ability to extend once in post. Ideally we are looking for flexibility and can offer 2 x 12 hour shifts per week starting 8am and finishing 8pm. We are flexible across what days. Requirements To join us as a Care Assistant you'll need to have some experience of caring for people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you'll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.
