Dr Smith & Partners are looking to recruit anenthusiastic and conscientious Receptionist with a sense of humour to join ourbusy team based across two sites. Working between 20-25 hrs per week, shifts are a mix of mornings startingat 07:45 and afternoons finishing at 20:00 and possible full days. Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis with a minimum of 4 weeks notice given. In addition to this you will be required to work Saturdays on a rotabasis. It is essential that thesuccessful candidate is able to be flexible in their approach to working hours. Duties will include dealing with patients both face to faceand over the telephone, and use of computers. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and beable to work in a busy environment whilst remaining calm and approachable. There may be a requirement to cover at short notice. Previous experience in General Practice is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Main duties of the job Facilitate patient pathways by following signposting protocol in a courteous, efficient andeffective way by telephone, in person or electronically.
