You will be a vital part of a holistic service, making a significant contribution to the health care needs, outcomes and experience of a complex and vulnerable population. Our prison healthcare teams are based in three national Scottish Prison Service (SPS) Prisons; HMP Glenochil, HMPYOI Cornton Vale and HMPYOI Polmont. These posts are primarily based in HMP Stirling and HMP Glenochil. The post holder will be a first level registered nurse, looking to develop and enhance their clinical skills and knowledge. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will have the ability to work autonomously, with a high level of clinical decision making skills. They will be ambitious and a committed individual, supporting the development of a modern and innovative healthcare service. All posts are subject to rotation. Ability and willingness to work and travel across the areas of service delivery is essential for this post.
