The band 5 Alcohol Care Team Nurse will be an integral member of the Alcohol Care Team which provides care and treatment for patients with alcohol misuse issues. This nurse will assess patients who misuse alcohol and advise Trust staff on the care and management of acute alcohol related issues and care plans. They will participate in the development and delivery of education programmes for Trust staff in the speciality of alcohol misuse. The band 5 nurse will be responsible for supporting a caseload of individual patients who are not engaging in the community which results in hospital admission and frequently attend Trust services. The band 5 alcohol care team nurse will be willing to be flexible to meet the needs of this new team and must demonstrate knowledge, expertise and passion in working within the speciality of alcohol misuse. The job role will include cross site working but will predominantly be based on the North Tees site. The working hours are Monday to Sunday day time hour's dependent on the service need.. "}
