Main duties of the job The postholder is responsible for carrying out Nurse-led Pre-Operative Assessments for criteria specific patients, and ensuring that they are safe and suitably prepared for surgery. They will also support and assist in the development of the service to match the demands of elective care within the surgical directorate. The role is supported by specialist nursing team however some work will be carried out autonomously.
