The team provides a comprehensive administration service for the GP Immunisation and Examinations, Generic and Flying Start Health Visitors, School Nurses and Public Health, supporting them in the delivery of the National Immunisation Programme. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Child Health Teams based at Woodland House. This is a busy and varied office-based role, covering a wide range of clerical duties including dealing with queries from parents, outside agencies and health professionals at all levels. The role can sometimes be quite demanding and therefore an ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks as well as respond to instruction is essential. The role requires excellent organisational abilities and communication skills, as well as strong IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. A knowledge of software packages such as Oracle and Paris would be an advantage but full training will be given. An understanding and awareness of confidentiality is vital as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. This is a busy and varied office-based role, covering a wide range of clerical duties including dealing with queries from parents, outside agencies and health professionals at all levels. The role can sometimes be quite demanding and therefore an ability to work autonomously prioritise tasks as well as respond to instruction is essential. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. "}
