Do you have experience working in a kitchen? The Home Carlingford Lodge Care Home is a registered nursing home which provides nursing care for up to 58 patients. Patients are accommodated over two floors. Patients with dementia are cared for on the lower ground floor and patients requiring general nursing care are cared for on the ground floor. Patients have access to communal lounges, dining areas and outside space. The Role This role involves assisting the operations of a catering service within Healthcare Ireland unit with particular emphasis on the movement, storage and preparation of food within the unit. Main Responsibilities Ensures that all catering stock and equipment is correctly stored and accounted for in accordance with the company’s Assured Safe Catering standards. Delivers meals and other catering supplies to various areas within the unit in a timely and efficient manner. Under direction, assists with the basic preparation of food items. Ensures all cleaning within the kitchen, catering and servery areas (as appropriate) is completed and complies with the company’s Assured Safe Catering standards. Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the home, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
