The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a passionate, friendly and organised person to join the Patient Engagement team! You will contribute to the efficient running of the Patient Engagement function, providing project support and events coordination, working closely with the Patient Engagement Manager. This role involves travel across the South West to attend events, teaching members of the public (including children) about the ambulance service, and collecting feedback from our service users and their friends and family to improve the service, and much more. It is a varied and fast-paced role, working in a small close-knit team. We are looking for a strong communicator, who excels at organising various tasks simultaneously, and can complete administrative tasks to a high standard. It is important you are able to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing, to people from all backgrounds and of differing needs and abilities. The post holder will be able to comfortably complete straightforward projects and complete the organisation of engagement events to a high standard.The post holder will complete the following duties, including but not limited to: Manage day to day and routine Patient Engagement functions and processes, deputising for the Patient Engagement Manager in their absence. Act as first point of contact for the Patient Engagement Administrator when in post, assisting with workload where necessary and undertaking regular checks and internal audits of administrative process. Provide insight into the daily working of the Patient Engagement and Compliment team members to the Patient Engagement Manager to assist with annual report writing and probation periods. Supervise the Engagement and Compliment inboxes, Engagement system and calendars, ensuring communications are dealt with promptly and professionally. Deliverprogrammes of work as defined by the Patient Engagement Manager. Manage all aspects of event coordination including, but not limited to: o Vehicles o Volunteers o Diaries o Risk assessments (overseen by Patient Engagement Manager) o Collaboration with external and internal parties o Merchandise and stock. o Processing event feedback forms onto central database. o Documenting post-event analysis to plan event calendars for following years.
