New starters joining the Trust before this time will commence on the old payscales and will move to the new ones once they have been finalised** This post is an exciting opportunity to join the emotional health & resilience team (EHRT) in County Durham, supporting children and young people with mental health & emotional wellbeing difficulties. The candidate will work as part of the Countywide team predominantly within the South Locality in County Durham (Sedgefield & Durham Dales), delivering the service to Children Young People & Families (CYP&F) The EHRT are integrated within the 0-25 Family Health Service providing advice, consultation, training and professional support for staff in the children's workforce to enable them to address, in the most effective way, the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of children and young people. If you are an enthusiastic team player who has experience and understanding of working with children and young people who are struggling with emotional health difficulties and you are passionate to make a difference for the children, young people and families in County Durham then we would love to hear from you. You will Work with CYP&F to develop strategies to ensure the emotional and wellbeing needs of the whole school population are identified and prioritised through resilience and health education programmes. Facilitate effective collaboration between all relevant agencies and services to identify and implement the best approach to meet the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of children and young people. Be professionally accountable and responsible for the direct care of children and young people, including assessment and provision of time-limited therapeutic interventions, in schools, family homes and community settings. Promoting at all times a positive image of children and young people with emotional and mental health needs. "}
