We are looking for an additional team member on a full time basis and at 37.5 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for the right people to join a well established and supportive team in an ever changing and challenging environment. The Individual Will Need To Be Flexible In Their Approach To Working Hours As The Reception Team Provide a 24 Hours Service, 7 Days Per Week. Please Only Apply If You Are Available To Work All Of The Shifts On a Rotational Basis As Mentioned Below Early 08:00 – 16:00 Late 16:00 – 00:00 Night 00:00 – 08:00 Some short notice cover will be required to ensure the clinical safety of the department during sickness and annual leave. Greeting all patients who arrive to the Emergency Department and book them on to the computer system to ensure that vital treatment can begin is the essential part of this multi-faceted role. The successful applicants must be self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure. Our Emergency Department sees an average of 250 patients though our doors each day and with 5 areas of treatment, it can prove extremely demanding. A knowledge of CERNER is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. All new colleagues can expect to receive a warm and friendly Wirral welcome from the very first time they make contact with us. We are described as “competent and caring staff” by our patients.
