You will report to the Estates Officer Band 6 and Engineering / Building Services Manager operating in a role that offers diverse requirements across a varied property portfolio of circa 80 sites. As an estates officer (entry level) you will provide effective operational support to the Estates Officer (Engineering/Building Mental Health - Band 6) with regard to electrical, mechanical building services and building fabric. Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of engineering and building assets to a high standard and in a cost-effective manner, with due regard to the security and patient care implications of potential service failures. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Estates Services within the boundaries of user groups, security, and statutory authority requirements. You will at times be required to liaise and collaborate with your colleagues in the Estates Forensic Division where the services are contracted out to ensure we are providing consistent services across the Trust estate. Assisting with managing the maintenance delivery, you will be working closely with the Monitoring Officer and the Helpdesk to provide assurances using the KPI reports (Key Performance Indicators) to show we are achieving the levels of service delivery required for us to maintaining statutory compliance across the estate in all areas of engineering plant and building fabric.
