The Children's 0-5 Service brings together health visitors together with the skill mix, to deliver the Healthy Child Programme and improve public health outcomes. An exciting opportunity has arisen to sponsor highly motivated qualified nurses interested in undertaking the MSc/PGDip Public Health HV -SCPHN Programme(Health Visitor- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse programme). Students hoping to access this programme must be currently registered with the NMC as a Midwife or Nurse in any field of nursing including adult, child, learning disability or mental health. We work in partnership with City of London University to deliver this training. It comprises of an academic component (50% of the course) at University and Practical Placement (50% of the course) anywhere within the Community (Hackney and City of London) Students will be expected to apply via the University website for the academic component. The post holder will undertake the required study with the affiliated university achieving outcomes in both practice and university-based learning. They will be required to work within the community setting, facilitated by the Practice assessor/supervisor.
