An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly, established nursing and medical team within the Urgent Treatment Centre at Crawley Hospital. Our Urgent Treatment Centre provides urgent and unscheduled care , 7 days a week with a fully integrated ambulatory primary care service for the Crawley population and surrounding communities. As a member of the team works co-operatively with the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will ensure the highest possible standards of care are received by patients and their carers while in the units. Works within agreed boundaries of practice giving support to the nurse in charge of the shift and other members of the senior nursing team You don't need previous experience; we’ll train you on the job, supporting you to be the best that you can be. Your training as a Healthcare Assistant will include basic nursing and therapy skills and we’ll support you to achieve achieving the Care Certificate. With experience and further training, you could further your career in health care opening opportunities to train as an Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate. With the appropriate qualifications and experience, you could also go on to train as one of the many degree-level healthcare professionals such as a Nurse, Podiatrist, Midwife or Therapist.
