It causes my muscles to be stiff and spasm, so I need someone who is understanding and patient as it can take me longer to do things. I have also been recently diagnosed with a chronic UTI; this is where the infection is embedded into my bladder lining I manage it by taking medication. I want to be as independent as possible, so I have decided to choose Salford University because it is a few hours away from my home in Leeds and will live in student halls while at university where you will have a separate room. It is important to me that my care and support needs do not rule my time at university. It is important to me that you are willing to help me socialise and accompany me to places such as pubs/clubs, concerts, cinemas, to the theatre and dinner with friends etc. It is important to me that you respect my privacy because sometimes I will want to be alone or with friends.
