This is a 12 month post to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting role for a specialist pharmacist to develop their expertise in paediatrics and neonatology. This is a rotational post providing clinical services across paediatric medical & surgical wards, paediatric critical care and neonatal units. We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, flexible, and forward thinking with a sound clinical pharmacy knowledge. It is desirable for applicants to have a special interest in paediatrics, neonates & maternity. This role involves complex clinical medication reviews of paediatric & neonatal inpatients, advising and prescribing with an expert team of medical & nursing staff. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing medication for discharges and providing medication counselling to patients and families.The successful candidate will be provided with all the relevant training and support from expert pharmacy colleagues, in addition to being provided with ample development opportunities to allow personal growth, and career progression.
