The postholder will work alongside the Associate Medical Director for Acute Care and report to the Executive Director of Paramedicine, providing advice and guidance to the WAST senior management team within the Clinical Directorate whilst acting as an advocate and promoting the role of WAST with external organisations. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job The successful postholder will liaise with Primary Care including LMCs and GPC Wales to promote understanding and build working relationships between WAST and the wider Primary and community care community. They will provide clinical advice to the Executive Director of Paramedicine, Executive Director of Quality and Nursing, and wider clinical team on clinical standards and practice within Primary and community care that influence a future model of response. They will provide clinical advice to the Trust's Complex Case Panel in relation to Concerns / Complaints / Redress. The successful postholder will need to possess specific expertise in the delivery of out of hospital urgent care, have substantial experience within general practice and be influential in progressing the clinical provision of enhanced care for patients in the community, particularly for frailty patients.
