The patients are seen, assessed and treated, then discharged. This is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic team in an area that is committed to delivering quality care to all patients. We work with a multi-disciplinary team, to ensure that patient care is of the highest standard. We are looking for candidates with good interpersonal, communication and organisational. Previous care experience is also desirable ideally gained in a healthcare environment. In house training will be provided. It is essential that the successful applicant is committed to professional development and has the ability to work as part of a team and independently using their own initiative. The type of candidate we are looking for needs to be dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic and be committed to providing care to an excellent standard, open to change in order that we continually improve. Patients are the most important part of our work and caring for them to a high standard in a caring and safe environment is paramount. Working alongside a trained nurse to deliver safe, personal and effective care is the main responsibility but an enthusiasm to develop yourself within the role is desirable. Further knowledge of basic life support, physiological measurement recording, safer handling and equality and diversity are all areas in which training can be provided for the successful candidate. There will also be an opportunity to further develop your knowledge with learning skills like venepuncture and cannulation. The role will involve assisting the patients with their daily activities of living, washing, dressing, nutrition, hygiene, etc to maintain an excellent standard of patient care.
