Position: Are you a qualified MSK Physiotherapist looking to take your career in a new direction? Due to limits on sponsorship allocations, we are not currently in a position to offer sponsorship to new candidates for these roles, this remains under review. Our business is growing, and we have exciting opportunities to join our Virtual Physiotherapy Service , working with corporate clients and Occupational Health providers to assess and treat patients. This is a remote role, where you can achieve better work/life balance with our flexible working patterns. Full training will be provided in our virtual and digital platforms which will support you in providing high quality care to your patients. You will provide Virtual Physiotherapy services to IPRS Health clients and patients to ensure the highest possible standards of clinical care are achieved. The virtual physiotherapy element involves telephonic and virtual triage, assessment, and appropriate management of MSK injuries in a remote setting. There is availability of remote physiotherapy management, referral into face-to-face physiotherapy services, and onwards referral if needed. There is a strong emphasis on remotely managing patients with MSK conditions in the remote setting where clinically appropriate through delivery of education, advice and bespoke exercise programmes using the latest in rehabilitation software. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously as an MSK clinician and maintain their own caseload of patients. They will have clinical support from peers and Team leads where required. Additional responsibilities may involve working with the Team/Clinical leads to contribute to training resources, patient information and website content. Key Tasks And Responsibilities To undertake telephone and Virtual App based physiotherapy assessments and management of your individual clinical caseload. To be responsible for delivery of timely, quality, medically correct and accurate notes/correspondence in accordance with IPRS standards. To deliver/advise on appropriate treatment in line with evidence-based medicine and established guidelines. To analyse information gained from all sources at your disposal (Current Evidence, Clinical Reasoning etc.) in order to ensure that patient care and recommendations are correct and accurate and reflect the IPRS Health Clinical Care Pathways. To make appropriate recommendations around patient management in terms of treatment, onward referral and appropriate clinical investigations (where appropriate and in line with the iRefer guidelines) as required on a case by case basis. To ensure that any recommendations for further treatment, onward referrals or clinical investigations are reasonable using clinical reasoning, clinical experience/knowledge and current evidence. To maintain and work towards key KPIs specific to the role of Virtual Physiotherapist. To be a “clinical point of contact” for non-clinical personnel seeking clinical advice or information whilst undertaking telephone screening calls, dealing with client queries or making referrals. To actively engage in any Clinical Audit duties as directed by the Clinical Lead in line with the IPRS Clinical Audit Strategy. General: To take initiative in maintaining your individual professional development in order to stay current with clinical evidence and practice.
