The post holder will undertake various clinical activities and tests, following established polices and procedures, such as phlebotomy, blood pressure, warfarin clinics, urinalysis, liquid nitrogen clinics and clinical room stocking and consumable ordering. Good working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as a clean driving licence are essential. Previous experience of using GP Practice systems EMIS and Docman will be advantageous. The working hours and work days are negotiable for the right candidate. Candidates should be aware Phlebotomy is predominately completed in the mornings to link in with the NHS laboratory sample courier therefore morning work hours are an essential stipulation for this post. Applicant flexibility with working hours especially during busy times and holiday and sickness cover will be required.
