To provide advice, consultation and training to staff working with the client group across a range of agencies and settings, where appropriate. Person specification EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential criteria Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology Registration with HCPC. Desirable criteria Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training and/or other fields of applied psychology. Qualification/training in Systemic/Family Therapy EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Essential criteria Experience of working in an area relevant to this post, preferably CAMHS, YOT or a community-based adolescent team. Evidence of a high level of competent and autonomous clinical practice. Experience of working within the different psychological models that are evidence based or are building an evidence base Understanding of monitoring outcomes Desirable criteria Experience of Attachment/Mentalisation based approaches, Narrative Therapy or Community Psychology Experience of working in YOIs and/or prisons Experience of the application of psychology in different cultural contexts.
