The post will be cross site, requiring you to work in both York and Scarborough Hospitals. You will be an experienced and compassionate leader, supporting operational, administrative and clinical teams to deliver high quality care in General Surgery services. You will have an interest in service improvement and will be a responsive and autonomous leader. The post will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with colleagues enhancing General Surgery pathways and ensuring timely access to acute and planned care. The post holder will report to the Senior Operational Manager for Surgery Services and work in partnership with senior colleagues within the Care Group and the wider Trust, to ensure delivery of the portfolio of services and activities within a clinically and financially sustainable model. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day line management of administration and clerical functions within the Care Group.
