DSFS Ltd based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital are looking to recruit into the role of Assistant Cost Accountant. This is a key role supports the Head of Costing for both internal and external cost reporting specifically patient level costing and service efficiency and cost effectiveness. Hybrid working is currently available for this role, once initial induction is completed, in addition to access to our flexi-time policy. Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Limited currently do not offer a Certificate of Sponsorship, any applications which require sponsorship will not be considered Assist the Head of Costing in the control, maintenance & development of the Patient level Costing system. Ensure the collection, formatting, validation and inputting of activity and cost data to ensure the accurate and timely production of Trust costs. To assist in the submission of the Trust's National Cost Collection, to meet NHSE deadlines ensuing compliance with NHSE costing guidance where possible and detailing where divergence is required. To develop an understanding of the Trust's services in conjunction with the Head of Costing, the Divisions & Divisional Accountancy teams to accurately produce meaningful costs at various levels of granularity. In conjunction with the Head of Costing develop, maintain, and keep up to date a suite of costing & efficiency reports and in a variety of formats and support training to ensure these reports benefit the Trust's decision-making processes. This includes the development of user-friendly dashboards e.g. Microsoft power BI reporting. To assist the Head of Costing in promoting the benefits of Patient Level Costing and Service efficiency reporting information to Divisional Teams & developing clinical engagement. Support the Head of Costing with costing information to support the Trust's planning processes, service changes, efficiency improvements and business cases. "}
