Then this is the role for you The Health Care Assistant is a member of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) service for children and young people with an intellectual disability, who carries out assigned tasks, including essential patient care, and clinical care under the direction and supervision of a qualified nurse or doctor in accordance with Trust policy and practice. This role is within the pathway for children with a learning disability. It offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a supportive team carrying out duties such a physical observations and supporting with the smooth running of assessments, including interacting and engaging with the young person while their parents are talking to the Doctor.
