Renfrewshire Learning Disabilities Service is recruiting a 0.5wte permanent Band 4 Assistant Psychologist. The post holder will support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service by providing psychological assessment and interventions under the weekly clinical supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist. In addition, they will work independently according to an agreed plan and within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures. This work will primarily consist of administration and scoring of standardised neuropsychological tests in addition to low intensity psychological therapy work (some involving domiciliary visits across Renfrewshire) both on an individual basis and within wider systems. The Post Holder May Also Be Involved In The preparation of identified materials for therapy sessions, Attending case conferences and liaising with other professionals.
