This is a self-employed practicing privileges role and will require successful candidates to carry their own medical malpractice indemnity insurance. You will make healthcare better for our patients by undertaking ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively for both the public and private sectors; adhering to best practice of ultrasound technique in line with company policy and guidelines. About us What you will do: Undertake ultrasound procedures in line with existing modality-specific clinical guidelines and protocols (aligned with RCR & SOR Standards). Undertake examinations in line with the patient referrals adhering to organisational guidelines. Manage a safe, effective, caring and well-led environment responsive to our patients, customer and staff requirements. Support the Clinical Lead and Training Lead when required. Support the Operational Management Team with operational queries and participate in team meetings ensuring effective communication within the service. Support the Clinic HCA as required to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. Assist trainee sonographers and other colleagues in the achievement of their learning outcomes. About you: Hold a minimum of a PGD in Ultrasound (or equivalent) and be a member of an appropriate professional body with valid registration. Have significant clinical experience as a qualified sonographer, undertaking a wide range of procedures at a minimum, General and Gynaecology. Hold excellent scanning and reporting skills. Hold a full clean UK driving licence and have access to a car. Demonstrate an appreciation of patient care. Be resident in an area which is reasonably commutable to the location of the role.
