The post holder will have the opportunity to participate, contribute and support new nursing initiatives. Responsible for teaching and development of clinical training pathways and the in-house education program both coordinating and delivering the content where required. This will include Trust wide in- house courses and study days, and one to one clinical teaching. The post holder will be based in St Georges (2 days) and Croydon University Hospital (1 day) and will be asked to support other Moorfields satellite if needed their expertise. Main duties of the job Clinical educator will create and evaluate a learning environment that optimizes each learner's clinical development and facilitates a 'best practice' principle for ophthalmic patient care that is evidence based. Ensure that the learning environment and specialist training is provided for the benefit of all staff and that evidence-based practice is incorporated and utilised in the teaching and clinical environment. Research, plan, develop, organise and deliver a range of short courses to both internal and external delegates.
