What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

Then, we'll ask you to answer one or more questions of your choice from the list below:
1. Can you describe your experience working as a nurse in a care home setting? What were some challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?
2. How familiar are you with the current regulatory requirements that govern care homes in the UK? Can you provide an example of how you've ensured compliance in your previous roles?
3. Please explain your understanding of clinical governance and its importance in the care home environment. How do you implement it in your practice?
4. Could you walk us through your approach to analysing clinical governance data and identifying areas for improvement?
5. Describe a time when you had to lead a team through a significant change or improvement process in a care home. What strategies did you use to ensure success?
6. How do you support and mentor newly-qualified nurses? Can you give an example of a mentoring relationship that went particularly well?
7. What do you believe are the key qualities of an effective leader in a clinical setting?
8. Can you share an example of a situation where you identified a problem related to care quality? What steps did you take to address it?
9. How do you approach setting and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the care homes you manage?
10. Building relationships with staff and residents is crucial. How do you foster positive working relationships among multidisciplinary teams?
11. Can you give an example of a challenging conversation you've had with a senior clinical staff member or management? How did you handle it?
12. What attracted you to this role with Barchester Healthcare specifically, and what do you hope to achieve in it?
13. Given the requirement for regular travel, how do you manage work-life balance while ensuring you meet the needs of the homes you support?
14. Imagine one of the care homes you are overseeing receives a poor inspection report. What steps would you take immediately following the report?
15. If you were tasked with introducing a new training programme aimed at improving clinical standards across multiple homes, how would you approach this project?
16. How have you continued your professional development as a nurse, and how do you stay updated on current best practices in clinical care?
