You will act as a role model, championing change and improvement in Rheumatology care. Main duties of the job Work as an expert practitioner responsible for the strategic direction of patient focussed programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of Rheumatology patients. Be responsible for the leadership and management of senior nursing staff, including the Rheumatology Advanced Nurse Practitioners (band 7s) and the Rheumatology Day Unit Manager (band 7) to ensure flexible delivery of a quality service. Be the budget holder with overall responsibility for the Rheumatology nursing budget.
