We will also give you the opportunity to make sure you keep up-to-date on educational development.ResearchWe are one of the most research-active acute Trusts in the region and we encourage all medical staff to get involved with ongoing researchprojects. The K&C site has the centre for Kent renal services, interventional, radiology, vascular surgery, Oncology, anesthetics/ITU/HDU, a full 24 hour medical take, an emergency Care Centre and 24 hour operating theatre availability as is appropriate for a urological cancer centre that performs complex major pelvic and abdominal urological robotic surgery This post will comprise a mixture of training and service delivery made up of ward rounds, clinics and theatre sessions as well as providing middle grade level on-call on a non-resident EWTD compliant 1 in 9 rota.Clinical sessions take place at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, William Harvey Hospital, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Buckland Hospital and The Royal Victoria Hospital.There will be outpatient sessions in general and specialised urology outpatient clinics where there will be both direct and indirect consultant supervision and training depending on the experience of the post holder. The range of clinics includes general urology, rapid access cancer clinics, haematuria clinics, PSA clinics, TP biopsy clinics, flexible cystoscopy surveillance clinics, ultrasound, urodynamics and andrology.
