If so, then consider applying for a post within our services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to work in our inpatient rehab unit at Woking Community Hospital. This post would suit a Occupational Therapist either currently at, or working towards, Band 6 level, with an interest in developing specialist skills relating to rehabilitation and complex discharge-planning. Our Inpatient services work on the Complex Elderly Rehabilitation Ward in Woking Community Hospital, offering patient-centred care, working with individuals, and their families/carers, to help optimise mobility, function and well-being as part of preparation for a safe discharge. Although expected to work autonomously you will not be alone. Our service is based around a multi-disciplinary team model, working with Physiotherapists, Nurses, Rehabilitation Assistants, Adult Social Care and doctors, also liaising with other community services. This is a full-time post which will include some weekend working. Applications for part-time, Return to Practice, internal secondments and bank staff may also be considered.
