This will include admitting and discharging patients on the hospitals patient admission system, booking outpatient appointments, transport and liaising with other departments in the hospital to ensure that the patient journey is efficient and stress free and general administration needs. This service is provided 7 days a week, inclusive of Bank holidays and is covered by a pro rata system inclusive of early, late and long days. Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ in February 2021 and is the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe.
