Compass Birmingham MHST is an early intervention mental health and emotional wellbeing service. The service delivers evidenced based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs. It is part of the MHST Trailblazer Programme, which has been commissioned following the Transforming Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Care Provision: A Green Paper (2017). The Person You will be knowledgeable and experienced in working with CYP with an understanding of mental health and emotional wellbeing and how this may impact on CYPF, on education and on opportunities and lifestyle. You will be interested to learn and develop your own skills and to support CYPF to build personal skills and approaches to wellbeing. You will be creative and prepared to try new things and work independently but also develop with the support of a clinical supervisor and a skilled and specialist team.
