We are looking for a band 6 dietitian who is interested in supporting the development of this new service and is enthusiastic about all things enteral feeding! The position is for a band 6 adult Home Enteral Feeding dietitian to work alongside our innovative team of dietitians, dietetic assistant practitioners and administrators who provide care to our adult and paediatric patients across Southern Derbyshire. The advertised role is for 22.5hr a week. We welcome questions from anyone interested in this role. The main duty of the job is to lead on the care of a caseload of adult enterally fed patients with ranging medical conditions. The service offers a variety of contacts including; clinics (hospital, community and day centres), home visits, nursing home visits and phone reviews. As a service we also link in closely with the wider hospital nutrition team. The post will support with a seamless transition of patients who are enterally fed into the community setting. The team are enthusiastic about service development and therefore this will be supported in this role. As a department we support students in all areas of training (A, B and C placement) from Nottingham, Coventry and Sheffield Hallam University.
