Applications are invited from individuals who are capable of performing a range of technical and support duties within the operating theatre. This post is diverse but has limited patient contact. The department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital undertakes a wide range of operations with the service providing 24 hour emergency cover as well as Day Surgery/Ambulatory care, and Falkirk community hospital cover Ophthalmology theatres. It is essential that you are a good communicator, flexible with regards to shift patterns and capable of becoming multi-skilled. Computer skills are advantageous. You will be required to provide support to a variety of healthcare team members within theatre, recovery and stores. Previous theatre or acute healthcare experience desirable.
