Pebbles Care are building a zero-hour workforce that provides additional support for our children and young people across a region or area. Your Role And Responsibilities - Residential Child Care Worker You will ensure that our children and young people are cared for in every aspect of their lives including, keeping them safe from harm, support for education, cooking, cleaning, and taking part in fun activities. You will provide crucial support to our care teams across a small number of homes within the same geographical area. You will receive a full induction, shadow shifts, and in-depth training, including a full introduction to Therapeutic Parenting. We will communicate with you regularly regarding your availability for shifts. We require you to cover as many shifts as possible and request that you carry out at least one shift, every four weeks, to remain in the role. What We Offer You Your hourly rate is £11.50 - £12.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and training (Full time equivalent salary is £33,727 to £35,193) Our Zero Hour employees will provide cover for 24-hour shifts, including sleep overs, or part-time daytime shifts. You will accrue paid annual leave for every hour worked (Full time equivalent is 28 days) You will receive your full rate of pay for all sleepovers and rest breaks.
