This band 6 post offers an opportunity to work with the Childrens Epilepsy Nurse team to provide care for children with epilepsy, aged 0-16 Within a Trust that has been recently awarded 'Good' by the CQC, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) is one of the most established and cutting-edge Children's Hospitals. We are seeking a caring, dynamic, reliable and committed nurse with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join the Children's Epilepsy Nurse Team. A desire to give the best care for children with epilepsy is essential for this post Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have an induction period, of a minimum of 4 weeks, individualised to meet their development needs. They will have numerous, ongoing opportunities to develop expertise in children's epilepsy, multidisciplinary team working and teaching, enabling them to provide expert advice, care and education to children with epilepsy and those involved in caring for them. You will be joining us at an exciting time, as we forge stronger links with community services and continue to develop the children's epilepsy care pathway and transition service. You will work closely with our team of friendly paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to ensure that children receive a seamless, quality service.
