The COPD Team is multi-disciplinary and provides holistic assessment and treatment to COPD patients in both the community and outpatient setting including Oxygen Assessment and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Main duties of the job To support the running of the Oxygen Service and / or Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programme within the Team. Using advanced specialist skills be responsible for assessing the physical and psycho-social needs of people with COPD, initiating the appropriate therapeutic care plans and treatment. To achieve the effective daily management of a caseload, prioritising clinical work and balancing other related and professional activities in accordance with departmental standards. Identify and participate in opportunities and cross-professional training and organisation of service to patients / carers. To maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and incorporate into your work including active participation in the supervision process. Supervising members of staff as appropriate and facilitating their development and performance.
