The Pharmacy leadership team is committed to education and training of the pharmacy workforce and will provide an inhouse training program and access to external training (including Psych 1 and Psych 2) for the successful applicants so they can reach their full potential. Main duties of the job This role will provide a clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation service to ensure patient's get the best from their medicines and that other healthcare professionals are well informed and skilled to be able to manage the use of medicines correctly, safely and cost effectively. This includes adult acute, older persons mental health and dementia services . The role will support the safe and effective use of medicines within the service, working closely with the pharmacy staff within the Brighton locality of Sussex Partnership, and as part of the wider service MDT and Trust wide pharmacy team. There is no weekend or dispensary working. There is an on call component to the role-further information can be discussed by contacting the team or at interview.
