We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. The shift pattern for this position is 10am to 6pm Monday to Thursday & 10am to 5.30pm Friday, 12 hour shifts 3shifts for 3 weeks & 4 shifts for 1 week This post may close early to the volume of response. Please submit your application form as soon as possible. An opportunity has arisen to work within the boards automated Pharmacy Distribution Centre. Duties will include the issue and receipt of medicines using the latest robotic systems, over labelling of clinic packs and stock management. You will also ensure the effective and timely processing and purchasing of all requests for medicines from services to external suppliers and assist in the facilitation of Homecare services and Customer Services support. No previous experience required although experience working in a Pharmacy or similar environment is desirable. Full training will be given to the successful candidate. Minimum of 3 standard grades or equivalent, including English are desirable. You will participate in a shift pattern, whole week working and public holidays.
