The post holder will provide comprehensive medical secretarial services to Consultants, Nurses and Junior medical staff within the Neurology service. The post is full time (37.5 hours) and the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and work well within a team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with previous medical secretarial/ administration experience, possessing excellent administrative and clerical skills. Computer literacy is essential for the role, which will include the use of Microsoft Office packages, NHS IT systems and audio/copy typing. A clear understanding of patient confidentiality and being able to work to deadlines is also required. Cross cover across the team/ directorate may also be required at times. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post but not essential; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
