An exciting opportunity has arisen for a psychological therapist, practitioner psychologist or mental health practitioner to join a well established children and young people's community eating disorders service hosted by Bradford Aire Wharfe Craven CAMHS. The successful applicant will join a 13.5 equivalent multi disciplinary team including psychology, psychiatry, nursing, mental health practitioner and associate practitioner roles. We have a close working relationship with our paediatric colleagues who support with in patient refeeding when necessary. The family therapy FT-AN, FT-BN approach is at our core and we also offer a parent group, adjunct therapies, neurodevelopmental assessment and medication initiation and monitoring. Closing Date – 31st August 2024 Shortlisting Date – 1st September 2024 Interview Date – 10th September 2024 Work with other members of the multi disciplinary team to provide holistic care and understanding for service users through team discussions, formulations, consultations, joint work and training. Work with autonomous professional judgement, together with other psychological therapists, to deliver evidence based therapy to individual and groups of patients. Manage a designated caseload of patients with responsibility for their assessment (including clinical risk), implementation and evaluation of therapy. Supervise and support psychological therapists and other health care professionals. Support the delivery of psychological skills based interventions to service users in the team.
