The individual ideally should have some experience of general out patients clinic work although this is not essential and training will be given The successful applicant will be required to assist the team of Doctors and registered nursing staff within the Department. The team also has additional support from admin and reception staff. The successful applicant will be required to show high levels of concentration and organisational skills along side excellent communication skills with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure clinics run efficiently and effectively . It is expected that the Band 3 Healthcare Assistant will be rostered according to service need and requirements, usually Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with occasional late working if clinics overrun where time owing will be given This job requires long periods of standing and requires some physical agility.
