Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough. Clinical Effectiveness South East London (CESEL) provides a systematic evidence-based approach to quality improvement, to help to improve health outcomes for local residents across SEL and build a successful Integrated Care System (ICS). The programme brings population health management and learning together, to form the basis for personal, organisational and system development, and continuous improvement in outcomes.The operating model is underpinned by SEL-level clinical leadership while allowing for local ownership and shared economies of scale; working flexibly to deliver ICS and local priorities. CESEL Clinical Lead (place-based) provides clinical leadership in designing and delivering improvement resources and support (e.g. Clinical Effectiveness Guides, education) to primary care teams. CESEL has recently described an ambition to develop a system-wide quality improvement function that reaches beyond general practice.
