The postholder will support the ICB to meet our statutory duties and embed the aims and principles of the ICB Working with People and Communities and Working with Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises strategies. They will advise on, develop and deliver strategic engagement plans to support our corporate priorities, with a focus on improving population health and reducing inequalities. They will also play an operational role, supporting the ICB to deliver change and transformation at system, place and neighbourhood level and ensuring that patient and resident voice is central to decision making As a subject matter expert for engagement and community involvement, the postholder will provide guidance on best practice and innovative methodologies. Work in partnership with members of the wider communications and engagement team, delivering joined-up communications and engagement strategies, often in relation to high complex and high profile health and care programmes The post holder will develop, deliver and evaluate a wide range of engagement activities - including events and consultations with stakeholders.They will be driven, innovative, open to change and passionate about improving the health outcomes and experiences of NCL residents and reducing the inequalities that affect local communities To support the ICB to improve population health and reduce health inequalities across North Central London, particularly in relation to CORE20PLUS5, acting as a champion for residents and patients and ensuring they have a voice in decision-making that affects them. To advise on and deliver best practice engagement and involvement activity to improve population health, including service changes, transformation projects, behaviour change programmes and so on at system, place and neighbourhood level. To support the ICB to put patient and public voice at the heart of decision making, supporting staff to meaningfully involve public, patients and other stakeholders in shaping their projects and plans. To support the planning, organisation and implementation of complex strategies and programmes of engagement, involvement and consultation work as appropriate, interpreting and applying national guidelines. To provide expert advice to enable patient and public involvement and engagement, commissioning specialist support for PPI, as required, using specialist skills and experience to develop innovative ways of engaging and involving patients, public and stakeholders in the work of the ICB. To support consultation on high-priority issues with external audiences, including those which have traditionally been considered 'seldom heard', utilising a variety of communications and market research methods to successfully reach and engage target groups.
